Fifaliana

7.1

“A group of European and Latin American doctors have taken on the task of visiting communities in Mozambique and Madagascar to treat women affected by chronic fistula. They also intervene in accidents, complicated pregnancies, and other illnesses that people in these communities cannot afford. The experience goes beyond the medical: it is a relationship of solidarity and mutual learning. And this is the exercise documented by Lorenzo Hagerman in Fifaliana.”
