José Cohen is a Mexican producer, photographer, and the Founder of Cactus Film and Video. Since 1996, Cactus has specialized in producing long-form entertainment, short films, broadcast news, commercials, podcasts, and music videos, collaborating with major television networks and renowned directors worldwide.

Cohen has directed, produced and co-produced acclaimed documentaries such as H20mx, Tempestad, Aquí Sigo, and Rush Hour, each earning international recognition for their powerful storytelling and societal impact. Under his leadership, Cactus’s work has been honored by prestigious institutions including, IDFA, The Mexican Academy of Cinematographic Arts, The Grammy Awards and FICM, among others.
